A Few of My Favorite 10+ Min/Mile Bloggers

Last week, I posted something that really seemed to resonate with many of you. Several of you commented that you were excited to find a blogger who runs as slow as I do. And don’t worry, I took that as a compliment. 🙂

I thought some of you might enjoy hearing about a few other 10+ min/mile bloggers out there. Trust me, there are a lot of us out there! Here are just a few of my favorites:

My Fascinating Life

You all have seen Caroline on my blog before – she is one of my favorite people to run with. I love her sense of humor. She’s not afraid to say it like it is. She posts daily with the latest events of her life and workouts and her posts are always entertaining. Be sure to check out her Fat Photos page – she has lost (and regained and lost, repeat) over 100 pounds. She recently ran her first half marathon and will be running her second with me in February!

Active Eggplant

Theresa lives about an hour south of me and we have met up a few times including one epic day for the 1DayRelay! Theresa is the tall one standing next to me.

I really wish she lived closer to me. She would have no choice but to train with me all the time. She is always so positive. She has done some amazing things – including a marathon, several half marathons and a number of triathlons. If you’re looking for some motivation, read her blog. I know you’ll love it as much as I do!

Raspberry Stethoscope

I’m pretty sure Nicole is the first blogger I ever met “in real life”. We met up to ride our bikes together when we were both training for triathlons. Since then I’ve seen her here and there – not as often as I’d like! We last saw each other in November at the Women’s Running Magazine 5k. She is actually not running right now (which I’ll admit I’m bummed about because I had hoped to see her at the half marathon!) but she just started Cross Fit classes and I’m loving reading about her experiences. If you’ve ever thought about trying Cross Fit, check out her blog!

Do you have any favorite 10+ min/mile bloggers to add to the list?

  7. I’m definitely a 10 mile + runner, partly due to just starting to run this summer and partly due to a health condition. I know it’s easy for people to let their time get them down, but I’m just happy I’m out there and doing it!

  8. Love this list. I like the idea that there are bloggers who are mid or back of the packers blogging about running. It’s nice to not feel like the slowest runner who has a blog.

    I am also a 10 + min/mile blogger.

  9. Me too! Haha. I hover around the 10-minute-mile, but I’m still working on my 5ks. Hoping to increase my mileage, but don’t care much about my pace, so long as it keeps me going!

Thanks for featuring others like us 🙂 New friendly faces to follow!

  10. I am definitely a 10+ minute miler and although I try to get faster, it just seems to work for me 🙂 It’s gotten me through plenty of races with a smile on my face!!

  13. Tricia

Just starting my goals at 40+ yrs …. can’t wait till I reach even close to 10 min mile. Thanks for inspiration!!!
