First things first, we really need to come up with a blog name for this baby girl. For some reason, Mini Athlete 2.0 just doesn’t seem right for her. Any suggestsions?
Second, I’m really late with this week’s update – so late, in fact, that I’m pretty sure tomorrow is when I technically cross over to 21 weeks. Oops. At least I took the picture on Thursday so it’s sorta in the middle of the week…right?
Here I am – 20 weeks pregnant!
There is no denying the existence of the bump now! Although some people are still scared to say anything about me being pregnant until I say something to them. Guess I’m still in that awkward in between. And of course, the bump is more or less noticeable depending on what I’m wearing.
Here I am after one of my morning walks…
And just for comparison’s sake, here I am in the gym at 20 weeks pregnant last time around!

I don’t think I look all that different…do you?
Overall, I’m feeling pretty good with the exception of my right hip that has been giving me some trouble. I wouldn’t call it “pain” exactly – more like discomfort. It’s around my right SI joint – which is exactly where I started having trouble at this point in pregnancy last time. Grr. I’m just going to keep doing what I can do and hope for the best!
It’s hard to believe I’m already halfway through this pregnancy. I felt like the weeks crept by when I was pregnant with the Mini Athlete – but they are flying by this time around! Guess it’s because I’m busy chasing this little guy around.

He’s growing up way too fast! He’s running all over the place, is starting to say more and more words and is just the most precious snuggle bug you’ve ever seen.

So let’s hear it…any blog name suggestions for our little girl?

You look great and yes, very similar to last time at 20 weeks. The bump is maybe slightly bigger this time, but certainly not much!
Spawn? I call mine “Parasite” pretty often, so that’s taken.
You look fabulous!! I think you look about the same in both photos
And I don’t think you’re in the “awkward stage” … you clearly have a beautiful baby bump.
How about “baby athlete”? Keepin’ it in the athlete family.. and she will be the new baby and all!
mini athleta!
I think the Demi Athlete would be cute!
The rookie?
I think MiA for Mini Athlete
I vote Baby Sister!
I know it is not a feminine, but you can nick name her Duce. (Mini Athlete 2.0)
You look great! That’s awesome that you are staying active again and I hope your hip pain subsides soon! My daughter is 13 months and I still have it in my left hip.
And what about Little Miss Athlete or Little Diva Athlete?
New-ish reader here! How about Petite Athlete for your little girl? BTW, congrats on your pregnancy- you look great!
You look great mama!!!
