Fast Forward

I feel like life is in fast forward right now. I have a big project going on at work right now and it’s taking up a lot of my time. And a lot of my thoughts. As excited as I am about it, I’ll be happy when it’s over so life can go back to “normal”. Whatever that is, right?

Yes, I still ran last Saturday with our Island Running Club. I covered almost 3 miles and it hasn’t gotten any easier. I ran with my Dad on Saturday and we went out FAST (for me.)

But I really slowed down from there. It was HOT and muggy out there – it’s going to take me a while to get used to the Florida humidity again!

Later in the day, our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt. Love that they have activities and a park here for our little ones!

He is getting so grown up. I can’t stand it. He will be two in June. Unbelievable. You should hear him sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” – it’s pretty much the most adorable thing ever.

And can you believe that Little Miss Athlete is already FOUR months old? Like I said, it feels like life is in fast forward.

She finally rolled over from her back to front the other day and absolutely LOVES watching her brother doing anything. She has found her voice and loves screaming and squealing to make sure we all know exactly where she is. :)

And now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go make the most of these precious moments with my little family.

Because I can already see…they grow up WAY too fast.

  1. UGH – I hear you. I need time to slow down for 5 minutes!!! Every single day goes by too fast. Then again, I realize that the fact that I want more time in my days every day means that I am pretty lucky to be living a life I love.

  2. OMGoodness! She looks just like her older brother to me. Just a female version. She is soooo cute!

  3. Yes, your kids are so adorable. Love the pics you post of them.
